Coping with Personality Disorders > Separating & Divorcing
Have no idea what I'm going to do!

It feels so go to have left the h and taken the kids back to my parents - with one major exception. He plans on fighting tooth and nail to have the kids. I have documented everything in the last 6 months. The judge issued that the kids are to be residing with me until a further court decision. . . but I felt like the kids might want to see their dad. So, I said he could see them one weekend day and two evenings a week. He swears up and down he will get them at least 1/2 custody. I can't have that. . . its getting so messy. He is now lavishing them with toys, letting them run wild at his place, and telling them to "keep begging mommy to come over and sleep at his house." In the mean time, my daughter has come home home asking me to tickle her girl parts and with them red and sore twice! She insists daddy didn't touch her down there (and is the type of kid who tells you everything normally) but the coinsedence is strong. A social worker has filed a child protective services complaint on him. . . and I am just so scared that he will get the court to grant him custody! I've never been more scared in my life - the kids cannot be with him that much. I left him because of the child neglect, mental abusing, and beginings of physcial abuse. But now he's playing "I'm the favorite parent trick!"

I will reply since no one else has. Your story seems to raise a red flag. I don't know how old your daughter is but if your H has been so effective in manipulating you in the past, think of what he might do to a child. If I had any inkling that she was being abused I think I would have to take action.
Obviously your choices are your own but I hope this place gives you the strength to do what you think is right.

Has he had a history of sexually abusing you or them?

How old is your daughter? What you said is very disturbing. I would take her to her doctor and have it checked out... that just sounds very suspicious to me.

CPS is involved and in their initial conversation with her she didn't reveal anything sucspicious. She and my son have a dr appt in 2 weeks to look for physcial evidence. He has no history but I'm still worried. My main concern is that he is going to manipulate the court and the children and at the very least he will be able to continue his mental abuse on the kids. . .or worse if he is sexually abusing either of them!
